• This is an exciting opportunity to test preparedness, capacity, and capabilities of Volunteer teams in NH.
• Volunteers will discuss preparedness, strategies, and resources available to respond to a Severe Weather Event.
• Collaboration between all the volunteer teams in NH will greatly improve preparedness and response efforts across NH! We need YOUR help to be successful!
• Prior Mission Sets participation is not required to attend this TTX.
• This will be in a No-Fault environment. All input will be welcomed and appreciated!

Exercise Facilitator: Chief Kenneth Erickson (Ret)

Chief Erickson is a 40 year veteran of the fire service. He retired from Laconia NH Fire Department in 2018. He has served as a Chief Officer in five department ranging in size from 24 to 52 firefighters, both career and combination. He holds a BS in Fire Administration and an AS in Fire Science from Providence College. He is a graduate of the UMASS Chief Fire Officer training program, the Maryland Fire Rescue Command and Control and has attended the National Fire Academy numerous times. He has taught at the NH Fire Academy, Vermont Firefighter Association, Lakes Region mutual Fire Aid, numerous fire departments, and Lakes Region Community College. He has fought and commanded hundreds of fires in his career.

Chief Erickson currently serves as member of the Lakes Region CERT team. Chief Erickson has experience facilitating large tabletop and full scale exercises. He looks forward to doing this for the CERT/MRC community in NH.
