The Caregiver Support works in partnership with Human Services and the New Hampshire Family Caregiver Program and is committed to improving the quality of life of caregiving individuals and families by supporting, empowering, and advocating for those who care for a loved one.

The Caregiver Support is actively seeking volunteers!
Volunteer opportunities include:
- Provide one-on-one informal supportive counseling to family caregivers. Refer caregivers and consult with Human Services staff when caregiver presents with needs other than informal supportive counseling;
- Create or facilitate local support groups for caregivers;
- Assist in planning and carrying out of: public awareness, social events, education, and training programs;
- Attend Human Services sponsored and other training.
Qualifications: Individual with a background in working as a family caregiver and/or working with family caregivers is preferred.
Caregiver grants
In our state, grandparents and other relatives are raising children and as such may qualify for support and grants to help with school supplies, clothes, and other needs. Our staff can help you understand available benefits and how to apply for them
